Olloclip Lens Now Available for iPhone 5

More good news for iPhone users coming out of CES earlier this month. If you’re an iPhone 5 photo fanatic, your day has finally arrived, as the aftermarket attachable lens from Olloclip, very popular for the iPhone 4 and 4S, is now available for the iPhone 5.

The Olloclip package includes a macro lens, a fisheye lens, and a wide-angle lens all together in one interchangeable lens attachment. The lenses have precision ground glass optics and are made from aircraft grade aluminum. Olloclip attaches to your iPhone with a plastic attachment, specifically fitted for the new iPhone.

In addition to the Olloclip, the company debuted a case for the iPhone 5 that turns it into something more resembling a regular camera. Fitted with two tripod mount points, one oriented for landscape and the other for portrait, it also supports an external microphone or light with a shoe attachment. The top portion of the case also opens up to accommodate fitting the Olloclip right onto the phone. When the top of the case is opened, the top cover doubles as the shutter release for the iPhone camera.

Olloclip for iPhone 5 is sold in red and black, with white available soon. The adapter to support the fifth-generation iPod touch will be available  later this year.
