Game of Thrones Returns to HBO for Season Four Tonight

The HBO drama Game of Thrones returns tonight for its fourth season, and plans to be even more bloody and violence-filled than the previous three seasons.
Rumors are abounding that this season, and perhaps even the very first episode of this season, will see some of the major characters killed off. Although who and when is still very much the subject of guesswork.
In addition to watching out for deaths, watch for some great character growth as well. It looks like Daenerys, played by Emilia Clarke, is set to become a force to be reckoned with. She’ll be fighting to free the slaves of Meereen and take over the city while her dragons will continue to grow more powerful under her care.
The setting of the first episode, said to be the wedding of King Joffrey, will reunite a number of characters, both recent and from earlier in the series. This reunion should prove to be lively and action-packed – to say the least.
If you haven’t yet caught up with Game of Thrones, or missed some of the action from last season – don’t worry. Amazon’s Streaming Video service has the last three seasons available to view in HD.
Season 4 begins tonight, at 9:00 PM on HBO. If you want a quick refresher before that, catch the final episode of season 3 on HBO2 just beforehand, starting at 8:00 PM, part of an all-day marathon of last season’s episodes.
